Not Your Burden

I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.
Numbers 11:14 NKJV

Last week, we saw Israelite were grumbling about meat. And, now we see Moses is overwhelmed by the responsibility and cries out to the God.Sometimes, like Moses we think it is all on us. It was God who brought them out of Egypt, was leading them & feeding them yet Moses felt it was ALL on him. Finding meat in middle of dessert is difficult, when you add for 600000 men, it is nearly impossible. Of course most of you know the story and how God provided the meat. So today I ask you what is the meat in your life? What seems like an impossible situation? Is it a spouse? Addiction? A child who is rebellious? Failing health? Financial hardship? Depression? Failing marriage? Relationship? Like Moses do you feel burdened and just can’t take it anymore? Well cry out to God as Moses did. Oh what privileged we have to just call out to God when we are in wilderness and see no way out. As you continue reading the chapter, this is is what God asks in verse 23 And the Lord said to Moses, “Has the Lord ’s arm been shortened? Remember, we serve the same Lord and nothing is impossible for him. Don’t carry around the weight of the world on you. God is in control. Trust Him.
His arm’s are not shortened. Amen
