Loveless Church

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
Revelation 2:4 NKJV

The love less church. As you study this church, look at how the church was founded ( Acts19). The other 6 churches we read about were founded as daughter churches. This church was fruit of ministry of Paul and it was Pastored by Timothy, Apollos, & John. Study the commendation found in verse 2-3. I think most of us would be very proud to attend such church yet they lacked and needed correction. This church represents the first church age period from 32-100AD. You see as early as 90 AD people were distorting the Gospel & deity of Jesus, which prompted John to write The Gospel of John. So you see The church of Ephesus were doing lot of good things but they lacked heart. What lesson can you learn from this church? Do you still have same love for Jesus as when you were saved or now have you settled into routine? you attend church, do 5 min devotional, share verses on social media, give tithes but passion is gone. If it has, take heed and learn from this church. They failed to hear the warning & church is no longer around.
