Divine Outline

19 [k]Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this. Rev 1:19

I understand why we are hesitant to read Revelation but the book provides a divine guideline and if you follow it, the book is easy to understand.

Things John has seen: Ch# 1, a glorified resurrected Jesus. As you read the chapter notice all the characteristic of Jesus.

Things which are. Ch # 2-3, It is the seven messages to seven churches. All of these churches were in existence and John led each one at some point.

The things which are hereafter. Ch 4-5: These chapters talk about the resurrected church in heaven. Ch 6-19: Talks about the tribulation. God pours his wreath out on the sinful world for a period of 7 years. At the end of ch 19 Lord comes back to Jerusalem with the raptured church to establish his kingdom. Ch# 20: The millenium-a 1000 years of peace & prosperity. At the end of 1000 years, Satan is released, and final rebellion ensues before he is defeated.Ch 21 & 22: New heaven & new earth are created, and we live happily ever after. You see Revelation is not difficult at all.
