Choice Is Yours

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Genesis 2:17 NKJV
How many of you have wondered, what if Adam & Eve did not eat the fruit? Somehow, we read this commandment and think it was for Adam only .The scriptures were written not only to inform us of God’s plan but also to warn us not to make same mistake. Now, you may say  what are you talking about? We are no longer in Eden, and I don’t have a choice of eating a fruit. Two trees are gone. Most of us believe, unlike Adam we would have fought the temptation and would not have ate the fruit. Of course, reality is different. The two trees are still here. Today knowledge is at center of our world. Men have become so powerful, we have started to question God and have started to define what is good and evil. As I write this, one of the biggest church in America is voting on allowing gay clergy and same sex marriage and there is overwhelming support from shepherds who should be leading the sheep. As he did with Eve, Satan is still tempting us to eat from tree of knowledge of good and Evil. Remember, Satan always leads you to tree that leads you to death. Satan will never lead you to tree of life.Today, so many question the validity of Bible & existence of God because they want to trust knowledge. I do not understand how virgin birth happened, I do not completely understand Trinity, I do not know how God fed Israelite in wilderness but just because my limited knowledge can not explain how, it does not mean it did not happen. Let’s not fall for deception of Satan. He is still trying to get you to eat from the tree of destruction. Instead focus on the one who hung on the tree so we may have eternal life. He is the tree of Life and you are still able to eat the fruit. What will you choose today? As it was for Adam & Eve, choice is yours.
