Do you know word Father is mentioned about 1000 times in the Bible? Our God is so loving that we can call him “ABBA FATHER.” No other religion can claim such a relationship. We are His children, and scripture says we are heirs with Christ. When do we have the right to call Him father? To answer that question, let me ask you how do you come into this world? How did you become part of the family that you are in? The simple answer is you were born into it. You had no say in which family you were born in or who was going to be your father or mother. Fortunately, you do have a say in who is your spiritual father and which family you want to belong to. But, much like your physical birth to be part of the spiritual family of Christ, you have to be BORN into that family. Anyone can be a child of God and be heir with Christ, the only thing you have to do is put your faith in Jesus and what he did on the cross for our salvation. Let me ask you, what was your contribution to your physical birth? You had ZERO contribution. You did not work for it or earn it. You don’t have to earn your way into the spiritual life as well. Jesus has done all that needs to be done, all you have to do is just trust him. Once you do that, you have the right to call God, your father. Imagine that blessing. Regardless of which religion ( Including Christianity) you are born into, we all have to be Born again spiritually to be in God’s family, and Jesus is the only way to do it. Some of you who are reading this might say, I am okay I have made that decision. Ephesians 6: 1 tells us Children Obey your parents, Are you walking in Obedience? Do you honor your father with your life? Once you are BORN AGAIN,” your life should reflect that and in all you do should be to please your Father in heaven. So today on this father’s day, for those who are BORN AGAIN, let us live a life of gratitude, service, and obedience. Let our life be acceptable in the eyes of our Father in heaven. And for those of you who are yet to be part of this heavenly family, Just accept Christ, put your faith in Him, make him your Lord and savior and you will be BORN into the holy family. There is no other way to earn your way into it. His GRACE is calling you. MAKE HIM YOUR FATHER TODAY. Amen
