BE HOLY

Now the Lord called to Moses, and spoke to him from the tabernacle of meeting, saying,
Leviticus 1:1 NKJV

Leviticus is a tough book to read for many. Not too many teachings are shared from this book. But, it is a book full of treasure. It teaches us about the Holiness of God. It starts where Exodus concluded. Leviticus is God’s instruction for His redeemed people, teaching them how to worship & obey Him. And the main theme of the book is the seriousness of entering into the presence of God. Of course, we are a part of the new covenant and we do not need to offer sacrifices, Jesus paid the price for ALL our sins. Having said that, God is still Holy, and we are to still go in His presence with reverence & sincerity.
Today is Sunday, and many of us will be going to Church, what is our mindset when we enter the church? Are we going there because that’s what we do every Sunday? Are you going there with expectation? Do you realize, you are going in the presence of Holy God? We do not need a priest to approach our Father as they did in Leviticus, Jesus has torn that curtain down, but He is still to be worshipped and honored in His temple. So as you attend church today, remember only reason you are there is to worship Him and Hear from him. Do not make God secondary in your Sunday service. It is Him you are going to meet. Let us not forget to Honor & Respect our Holy God. He is to be worshipped with a sincere heart. Let us watch how we talk & behave in the sanctuary of God. Certain conversations should not take place during the worship hour. You are only there to Hear from God, offer yourself as a sacrifice and be thankful for His Mercy & Grace. I urge you to read the book of Leviticus. The first 16 chapter teaches you how to have personal access to God through proper worship, and the next 10 chapters show us how to be spiritually acceptable to God through an obedient walk. If a church has become anything other than that, you need to self examine and change. I hope you have Blessed time worshipping today. Amen
