Are you Bleeding?

²⁰ And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. Matthew 9:22

How long are you suffering without any end in sight? Time has a way of passing by, and many of us just accept our circumstances as a way of life. How many times have you said, “oh forget about him/her,” He/she is never going to change. Is there a sickness in your life? Is there a sick loved one you are taking care of? Have you lost all hope for your spouse’s salvation? Is your marriage failing, and you see no sign of reconciliation? Are you dealing with wayward child? Let me tell you about a woman who was bleeding for 12 years. Those of you who are women reading this can certainly relate with discomfort and pain. She lived at a time when this condition made her an outcast. She could not go to the temple or take part in any of the social events. She had tried all she could to find relief and cure for her condition. When all failed, she turned to Jesus. We live in a society where there is a lot of distraction. There are so many things pulling us in all direction. And, many times we lose Jesus in time of our difficulties. I urge you to ignore all the noise around you and focus on Him. Jesus always had a massive crowd around him yet this woman who was an outcast was determined to get to Jesus despite obstacles in her way. So let me ask you, don’t you think Jesus can change the heart of your unsaved loved one?  Don’t you believe He can save your marriage? Bring back a prodigal son? Where are you bleeding from?  The woman took a step of faith not only was she healed physically but spiritually as well. When all human efforts fail, Why not try touching the hem of Jesus’s garment today? All it takes is FAITH. Amen
